This site gets a lot traffic because, aside from their local paper, it is one of the most popular sites for people to search for job opportunities. This site is very user-friendly and you can find almost any opportunity in the United States.

STEP 1 – SET UP GOOGLE VOICE ACCOUNT

It is important to keep track of all your leads. It’s easy to set up a Google Voice account. Just go to http://www.google.com/voice to set up the account. You will be asked to set up voicemail immediately after setting it up. However, you can do it later. You want to do:

Click “Voice settings”

Click “Voice and text”

Click the “Record new” button on the first screen and follow the steps

STEP 2 – SET UP VOICE MAIL GREETING

Ron Gelok taught me a wonderful voice greeting that I now use:

Hello, I’m (Your Name) and thank you for your call. Most likely, you found this number on Craigslist. We receive a high volume of calls. Please leave your name and number and tell us what makes you different from the others who call this ad. We will contact you within 48 hours.

STEP 4 – POST AND SET UP YOUR AD

You should have at least two or three accounts on Craigslist, because your ads may be flagged, placed on hold or deleted. It’s not a big deal if this happens. It is all part of the process when marketing on Craigslist. Posting in your locality is a great idea, especially if your meetings are held every week. This allows you to invite your leads.
